You are billing well in engineering or construction recruitment. The problem is that your ceiling is set by someone else, and the fees in your market are a fraction of what the data centre sector pays for the same work.
 
Mission Critical Recruitment is a boutique firm built for the data centre and mission-critical market across APAC, with offices in Singapore and Sydney.
 
Here is what actually changes for you. Commission is uncapped and you keep what you build, so a strong year is a genuinely life-changing year rather than an accelerator you hit and then stop caring about. You inherit live retained and exclusive mandates with developers and operators, so you are billing from month one instead of spending two quarters cold calling your way to a first fee.
 
You also stop being managed. No dial counts, no activity dashboards, no explaining yourself to someone three levels up who has never worked your market. You run your desk your way and you are judged on what you bill and the clients you keep. You will deal directly with the people who own the business, and decisions get made in a conversation rather than a quarter.
 
Then there is where this goes. The APAC build cycle has no realistic end date and the talent shortage is structural, so the market is not going to close underneath you. Whoever joins now shapes what Singapore becomes. If you want to build a team beneath you, that path is open and we will fund it. If you would rather stay a pure biller and earn accordingly, that is fine too.
 
What you'll need

• Proven billing history in agency recruitment at senior or principal level
• Recruitment experience within engineering, construction, project management or commissioning. Data centre experience is ideal
• Enough technical literacy to hold a real conversation about design, MEP, construction or operations
• Full 360 desk ownership, including business development and terms
• Credibility with senior stakeholders, from hiring managers to C-suite
