Apply directWe are seeking a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker for a Killarney based manufacturing company.
As a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker you will pick material in the warehouse for the production lines. The position will be 39 hours per week, 08:00 to 16:30 with a 15:30 finish on a Friday. Some overtime will be available.
- Pick material based on work orders received from manufacturing
- Use various warehouse machinery to access materials such as hoists
- Transfer materials to the various production lines in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties where necessary.
Requirements:
- Functional, hands-on experience in Warehouse Operations
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be capable of working well on one’s own as well as part of the warehouse team.
- Comfortable with Manual Handling Equipment
- A flexible can-do attitude
- Preferably, experience within a warehouse environment
- A good team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
This is a contract position of 3 to 6 months initially.
