We are currently seeking an experienced Painter Blaster Operator to join a leading industrial operation in Ballarat. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with abrasive blasting or industrial painting experience who also has strong technical aptitude and an interest in automation and robotics. Candidates with robotic welding or automated machinery experience are also encouraged to apply.

The role combines:
- Robotic blasting operation and setup
- Programming and adjusting machine specifications
- Manual abrasive blasting where required
- Monitoring blast quality and production standards
- Working within large blast booths using high-pressure blasting equipment
- Troubleshooting and optimising automated blasting processes
- Previous Painter / Sandblaster experience
- Experience operating or programming robotic or automated machinery
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to work in an industrial workshop environment
- Comfortable performing manual blasting duties
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Robotic welding experience
- Automation or machine programming exposure
- Industrial coatings or surface preparation background
- Temporary to permanent opportunity after 6 months
- Monday to Friday roster
- Attractive casual rates
- 7:00AM – 3:30PM day shift
- 38-hour weeks
- ASAP start available
