What You'll Be Doing As an Assembly worker, your core responsibilities will include: Assembly Work: Working with extensive plastics, metal, and mechanical assemblies, completing tasks that support overall production quality.Material Handling: Lifting and moving various objects (up to 50 lbs.) to keep workflow running smoothly.Following Instructions: Using verbal and written instructions to complete tasks accurately. In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (if you want included). Skills: Hand Dexterity: Needed for efficient and accurate assembly work.Communication Skills: Important for understanding and following verbal and written instructions.Attention to Detail: Helps ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards. Job Title: Loader/Unloader | Location: Ionia, MI | Shift: 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM | Pay: $20.80 per hour Job Summary Workbox Staffing is hiring Loaders/Unloaders for Ventra (Flex-N-Gate) in Ionia. In this fast-paced manufacturing position, you’ll load and unload automotive parts while ensuring products are handled safely and correctly. This position includes paid orientation. What You’ll Be DoingLoad and unload automotive parts from racks, containers and production equipment. Move materials and finished products to designated areas. Inspect parts for visible defects or damage. Properly stack, organize and secure parts to prevent damage. Keep accurate counts of materials and completed parts. Follow all safety, quality and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete repetitive lifting, bending, reaching and standing throughout the shift. Perform additional production or material-handling duties as assigned. What We’re Looking ForQualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and move throughout a 10-hour shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Willingness to follow all safety and quality requirements. Must be available to work overtime when required. No former Ventra employees or rehires. SkillsStrong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to maintain production pace while handling parts safely.
