About the role
The organisation is seeking a Payroll Project Specialist to support a significant UKG implementation project. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a pivotal payroll transformation, ensuring that the project meets its objectives leading up to go-live.
Key responsibilities
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of UKG system configuration
  • Execute and document test cases across payroll and workforce management processes
  • Validate payroll rules, leave entitlements, award interpretation and workflow configurations
  • Identify, log and track defects through to resolution
  • Liaise with project teams, implementation partners and key business stakeholders
  • Follow test scripts and navigate systems
  • Validate employee data and system integrations
  • Provide support to end users during the implementation phase.
Skills & experience
  • Proven experience in payroll, ideally within large or complex organisations
  • Strong capability in payroll system implementations or upgrades
  • Demonstrated ability to work with UKG, Kronos or similar workforce management/payroll systems
  • Excellent UAT, testing and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across project and operational teams
  • Available to commence immediately.
