About the Role
Business partner with leaders and employees by providing expert advice, support, and guidance on all aspects of the employee life cycle, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation and Council policies.

- Pay: $ 58.76 per hour + 12% super
- Location: Noosa - 9 Pelican Street, 4565
- Client: Noosa Shire Council
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: Initial contract until 11th September 2026 + extension
- Hours: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive advice across HR matters, including performance, development, and policy application
- Lead the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support Workplace Health and Safety with non-work-related injury/illness case management and provide advice and support on injury management cases including medical and ergonomic assessments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of People and Culture strategies including employer of choice, wellbeing and inclusion, workforce planning, talent attraction and retention, organisational development, and learning and development.
- Available to start immediately.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end HR services in a dynamic environment
- High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a flair for clear and concise advice
- A positive, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing
- Familiarity with HR legislation, public sector frameworks and modern workplace practices
- Qualifications or 4+ years’ experience in HR, employee relations, or a related discipline
