We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established contractor delivering a major defence infrastructure project in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. With significant works about to commence, this is an opportunity to be involved from the early stages of delivery on a high-profile project with long-term security and strong future prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and day-to-day delivery of major civil and infrastructure works
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site interfaces to ensure smooth project execution
  • Support project forecasting, cost control, procurement, and reporting functions
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Contribute to construction programming, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Provide technical engineering support across project teams and site operations
  • Mentor and support junior engineers across the project team
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience working as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer on major civil, infrastructure, or defence projects
  • Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced project environment with changing priorities
  • Relevant Engineering or Construction Management qualification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive approach to project delivery
