Shipping/Receiving – 1st Shift
Location: 130 East 1st Ave. Junction City, OR 97448
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00AM-4:30PM
 

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Unload, move, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to company and customer specifications.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain clean, safe, and orderly shipping and receiving areas.
- Assist with inventory control activities and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory-related work preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in warehouse and shipping environments with varying temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Forklift certification.
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of shipping carriers and freight procedures.

Work Environment:

- Warehouse and industrial setting.
- May require overtime, flexible scheduling, or occasional weekend work based on business needs.
