About Our Client:  

Is a global leader in mining and aggregates solutions. Their Canning Vale facility supports major WA mining operations with equipment servicing, repairs, and technical support, ensuring reliability and performance in critical plant environments.

About the Role: 

As a Hand/Rubber Liner, you will be responsible for applying rubber lining to steel components and assemblies used in heavy industrial and mining applications. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and pride in workmanship.
  
You will work on products including:

• Mill Dischargers
• Mill Trunnions
• Agitator Blades
• Trommel Frames
• Feed Chutes
• Discharge Cones
• Transition Pieces and other specialised mining equipment components

The role involves significant manual handling, rubber preparation and cutting work, adhesive application, and the safe use of hand and power tools.
  
Comprehensive training will be provided however you must have a high-risk licence to operator a Forklift along with a Dogging licence.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and cutting of rubber materials from templates
• Layout and assembly of rubber lining systems
• Surface preparation of steel and rubber substrates
• Application of adhesives and industrial bonding products
• Reading production drawings and work orders
• Conducting quality inspections and checks
• Operating hand and power tools safely
• Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
• Supporting production targets and workflow schedules

Essential Requirements:

• Previous Rubber Lining experience highly regarded
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Advantageous:

• Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence)
• Dogging Licence
• Manufacturing or mining industry experience
