FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting General Nurses for an exciting opportunity within a well-established Out-of-Hours GP Service across a number of healthcare centres in North Dublin.
Whether you're looking for full-time hours or part-time work, we offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle. Weekday and weekend shifts are available, with a variety of short shift patterns, making this an ideal opportunity for nurses looking to balance work with family, studies or other commitments.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy, patient-focused service providing care outside of normal GP opening hours. You'll work alongside GPs and a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to a wide range of patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
About the Role
As a General Nurse within the Out-of-Hours GP Service, you'll assess and care for patients presenting with a variety of clinical needs. This role requires nurses who are confident working independently, can make sound clinical decisions, and thrive in a busy environment while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.
A comprehensive two-day induction and training programme is provided before progressing to independent shifts, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

A minimum of two years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital or primary care setting.

The ability to work independently and competently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Excellent assessment, communication and organisational skills.

Strong IT skills and confidence using electronic patient record systems.

A willingness to complete the HSE compliance process in full before commencing shifts.
