General Purpose 

The Network Design and Optimization Engineer interfaces with customers to provide network design and performance related to services.

Main Responsibility Area 

  • Required to manage the delivery of network planning and optimization projects according to the agreed scope of work (SoW), while managing customer’s expectations and schedule of acceptance.
  • Performs critical (sometimes escalated) design and performance activities in customer projects independently. These may include complex problem solving in projects with performance requirements and multi-vendor environment.
  • May lead a project team with responsibility to create plans and delegate tasks to team members
  • Provides support to clients and/or customers (typically on site) in his field of expertise.
  • Required to propose / build the further business project from our customer along with Solution team and Sales team.
  • Required to build the strongly mutual relationship with Project Lead Managers of our customer, and boost their satisfaction level. 
     

Position Description

The Project Manager on Radio / Core Network Planning and Optimization Engineer will be required to lead a team of Radio / Core engineers and work independently to perform Radio / Core network optimization activities during network deployment phase like the following scope.

  • Parameter Optimization to meet the target KPI level

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 year Project Manager experience on Telecommunications Project
  • A minimum of 2 year work experience in Radio / Core Planning & Optimization for LTE.
  • A minimum of 2 years good work experience on LTE Optimization
  • Radio / Core Network Planning and Optimization LTE
  • Radio / Core Network Optimization experience on an LTE network
  • Deep knowledge of LTE KPIs - expertise in creating and analysis of statistical KPI reporting
  • Expertise with RF Planning tools, DT measurement tools and post-processing tools
  • End-user / customer problem investigation
  • Result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Team player, open communication and ability to work in international team
  • Strong Leadership for Colleague & Customer, and good mentor of the junior PMs (Mandatory)
  • Capability to build the close relationship with project management of our customer (Mandatory)
  • Excellent Speaking & Writing skills in English & Japanese (Mandatory) 
     

Education & Experience Or Other Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
  • LTE technology understanding and know-how
  • LTE design and optimization experience
  • Deep Knowledge of 3GPP
  • Machine learning & Deep Learning Knowledge (Preferable)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) (Preferable)
