Automotive Technician – Night Shift

Manukau Toyota Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join its night shift team based in East Tamaki.

This is an excellent opportunity to join New Zealand’s leading Toyota dealership group in a busy, well-equipped workshop environment.

Working on the night shift from 5pm – 2:30am, you’ll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and inspections across a varied range of vehicles, with the backing of an experienced team and a well-established dealership group.

Ideally, you’ll already hold WOF certification, while COF A authority would be a bonus.

If you don’t currently hold COF A, Manukau Toyota Group will support the right person to achieve it.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle servicing and general mechanical repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• WOF inspections
• COF A inspections where qualified
• Identifying and rectifying mechanical faults
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate job and inspection documentation

About You

• Qualified Automotive Technician
• WOF certification preferred
• COF A authority highly advantageous
• Willingness to obtain COF A certification with company support
• Strong servicing, diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Reliable and comfortable working night shift
• Current clean New Zealand driver licence
