Job Title: Jockey Truck Driver
Job Location: Fayetteville
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: Up to $18/hr,
Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM
Position Summary: Drives and operates a shuttle truck and/or semi-truck to transport trailers to appropriate location(s) on the premises in observance of traffic and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Safely move and position trailers throughout the facility yard.
● Back trailers into assigned dock doors accurately and safely.
● Hook and unhook trailers and related equipment.
● Chock trailer wheels before loading/unloading and remove chocks before moving equipment.
● Open and close trailer and dock doors and operate required trailer safety devices.
● Inspect trucks and trailers, including tires, fuel, oil, water, seals, jacks, and doors.
● Immediately report equipment problems, damage, or safety hazards.
● Maintain required paperwork and trailer/product records.
● May operate a forklift, pallet jack, or dock equipment to assist with loading/unloading.
● Maintain a clean and safe work area.
● Perform additional yard, driving, and warehouse duties as needed.
