Nursing Specialty ODR –Felony Incompetent to Stand Trial (FIST) Program
Mandatory Certification All required prior to assignment start date
Assignment Description: Client LA County Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) is currently in need of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience. This role will be working on the Felony Incompetent to Stand Trial (FIST) Diversion and Community Based Restoration program. This program removes individuals who are facing felony charges, and who are found incompetent to stand trial, out of jail and into community-based settings. Individuals should be comfortable working in a locked carceral environment with frequent interactions with justice involved individuals. Required certifications include active Licensed Vocational Nurse license, BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccination.
