Are you an experienced Fire Risk Engineer looking to work on complex, high-profile projects across a diverse range of industries? We are seeking a technically strong professional to join a specialist Risk & Process Safety team delivering innovative engineering solutions across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
This is an opportunity to work on challenging projects involving fire risk, dangerous goods and process safety, helping clients improve safety, compliance and operational resilience across industrial, infrastructure and built environment sectors.

About the Role
As a Fire Risk Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical outcomes while contributing to the growth of a collaborative and highly skilled team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering fire risk, dangerous goods and process safety engineering services across a range of projects and industries.
  • Undertaking risk-based engineering assessments, performance-based analyses and technical advisory services.
  • Developing practical solutions to complex safety and compliance challenges.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Contributing to business growth through strong client relationships and technical excellence.
  • Expanding capability across broader Risk & Process Safety disciplines.
About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:
  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering.
  • Experience within Fire Risk Engineering, Dangerous Goods and/or Process Safety, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk-based engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Australian legislative and regulatory requirements relating to Work Health & Safety.
  • Experience completing first-principles analysis, performance assessments and technical advisory services.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions or industry bodies.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or progress towards Chartership) will be highly regarded.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.
