Sales Representative/Warehouse Operative

The Opportunity:

Our client is a major supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases. Providing welding gases, helium, and technical support for local Goldfields businesses, they are seeking a proactive, safety-conscious, professional individual to handle sales enquiries, processing, warehouse stock management, and sales.

• Monday to Friday – 7.30am – 4.30pm
• Wages starting from $47.50/hr with Penalty rates, plus Superannuation
• Genuine opportunity to move into a Permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

• Build rapport and communicate confidently with customers, responding to face-to-face, phone and email enquiries, discussing products, services, pricing, and availability with customers
• Process sales transactions, generate invoices, and complete general administrative tasks using internal computer systems
• Undertake regular stock take and inventory management
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and safely lift gas bottles/products up to 20kg
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and compliance procedures

Requirements to fulfill the role:

• Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, trade counter, and warehouse environment
• Competent computer skills including invoicing, data entry and general administrative tasks
• Previous warehouse or store experience including stock control and stocktaking
• Physically fit and healthy, and able to lift to 20kg, pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
• Forklift licence is highly desirable, but not essential
• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
