Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

6 month initial contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Leader to join a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting young people experiencing mental health challenges and committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care.

As part of Ireland's evolving mental health services, CAMHS provides specialist assessment, treatment, and support for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age who are experiencing mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, and other complex emotional and behavioural challenges.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team while leading and supporting staff in delivering person-centred, trauma-informed care that promotes recovery, resilience, and positive outcomes for young people and their families.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Social Care qualification
  • CORU registration
  • 3 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families, preferably within mental health or therapeutic settings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Currently based in Ireland with Irish working rights
