West Perth Based | 6–12 Month Contract
An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Project Engineer to join a growing project team supporting the delivery of a major mining development in Western Australia.
This role is ideal for an engineer with 1–3 years engineering experience looking to further develop their skills across a diverse range of mining and infrastructure projects. Working closely with senior project leadership, you'll gain valuable exposure to project delivery, contractor management, construction coordination and stakeholder engagement.
The Role, you'll support the successful delivery of site infrastructure and mining-related project works, assisting with planning, scheduling, reporting, procurement and contractor coordination.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of project activities
- Support contractors and site teams to achieve project milestones
- Monitor project schedules, costs and progress
- Prepare project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree-qualified Civil, Mechanical or Mining Engineer years' experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role
- 1-3 years exposure to mining, resources, infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team
