An established and rapidly growing food manufacturing company in the South East is seeking an NPD Specialist to join its product development team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative products from concept through to commercial launch in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage products from concept, laboratory trials and factory scale-up through to launch.
Conduct product validation including shelf-life, stability and microbiological assessments.
Support factory trials, troubleshoot technical issues and implement improvements.
Work closely with Production, Quality and Procurement to ensure successful product launches.
Prepare technical documentation, product specifications and validation records.
Support HACCP reviews, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor market and industry trends to identify new product opportunities.
Requirements
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related discipline.
3+ years' NPD experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of product validation, microbiology, HACCP and food safety systems.
Experience supporting factory trials and commercial product launches.
Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
Fluent English.
