Senior Payroll Officer | Temporary Contract (Initial 2 Months)

We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to step into a busy, complex organisation on an initial 2-month temporary contract.
This role will suit someone who is confident operating in a multi-entity environment, can quickly get up to speed, and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
- Interpreting awards, EBAs, and payroll legislation
- Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities
- Working closely with HR, Finance, and operational stakeholders
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Background working within a complex, multi-entity organisation
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal training
- Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable managing changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Available to commence at short notice
- Initial 2-month contract with potential for extension
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Brisbane inner CBD location
