A growing multidisciplinary medical group in Northeastern Alabama, within the Birmingham-Chattanooga corridor, is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join its established team.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, outpatient Rheumatology practice
  • Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, gout, and spondyloarthropathies
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, including joint aspirations; musculoskeletal ultrasound experience preferred
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and a wide range of specialists
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care
  • Epic EMR utilized with strong clinical support infrastructure; experience preferred
  • Participate in quality improvement and teaching opportunities; academic experience a plus
