Company / Role Overview
Our client is an established organisation seeking a hands-on Software Delivery Project Manager to manage multiple technology initiatives across a regional environment. The role will work closely with software delivery squads and business stakeholders across Singapore and offshore locations, covering both new implementations and ongoing application delivery. This is a delivery-focused position requiring someone who is comfortable working in the detail, engaging directly with cross-functional technology teams, and actively driving projects forward rather than operating primarily as a governance or status-reporting PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple software initiatives, covering both new implementations and ongoing application development.
- Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans in collaboration with cross-functional Agile squads.
- Drive robust estimation, planning and delivery practices to ensure teams have clear and achievable commitments.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers and other technology stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Identify, track and actively drive the resolution of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID).
- Coordinate delivery across multiple squads, teams, locations and time zones, including offshore technology teams and regional business stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, dependencies and delivery milestones, escalating and resolving obstacles where required.
- Provide clear reporting on delivery status while actively challenging teams on planning, execution and ways of working to keep initiatives on track.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management or software delivery experience, with demonstrable ownership of technology delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience working with Agile software delivery teams and a solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and processes.
- Proven ability to work directly with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers and confidently engage with technology teams at a detailed delivery level.
- Strong experience in delivery planning, estimation, RAID management, dependency management and progress tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively drive teams towards delivery outcomes rather than operating primarily as a coordination or status-reporting PM.
- Experience coordinating distributed or offshore delivery teams across multiple workstreams and time zones.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to challenge teams constructively where required.
