The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of IT upgrades and data-driven projects within a complex, fast-paced Manufacturing and Defence Services environment.
In this role, you’ll deliver end-to-end projects, influence senior stakeholders, and use data insights to drive better business outcomes. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact position with strong visibility across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of end-to-end IT projects (Agile & Waterfall)
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Engage with stakeholders up to executive level
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across IT, Data, and Business teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and reporting
- Oversee testing phases (SIT, UAT, etc.) and ensure quality outcomes
- Deliver data-driven insights and reporting (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
- 10+ years’ experience in IT Project Management
- Proven track record delivering complex technology projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement, including senior leaders
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Project
- JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Excel / SQL / reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen for this role
- PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification
- ITIL knowledge
- Experience in Manufacturing, Defence, or Government
- Power BI / Tableau experience
- Exposure to Python or
