Perigon Group is partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team supporting a major finance transformation and system implementation project across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities:
  • Process daily financial data transfers between business systems
  • Support the migration of finance data into a new ERP platform
  • Assist with system testing and validation during implementation
  • Liaise with stakeholders across New Zealand to obtain information and resolve migration queries
  • Support project accounting activities and ensure data integrity throughout the transition
  • Work extensively with Excel to reconcile, manipulate and validate financial data

About you:
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting finance projects or ERP/system implementations is highly regarded
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Confident communicating with internal stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Enjoys working in a structured, process-focused environment
