About the Opportunity
Stellar Recruitment is proud to partner with Glencore Mount Isa Mines to recruit a Mobile Crushing & Equipment Supervisor to join the Isa Surface Operations – Tailings Crushing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a strong understanding of mobile crushing and screening operations and the mechanical aptitude to fault find, problem solve and supervise equipment maintenance activities.

Leading a team of six personnel, you'll be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of a diverse mobile crushing fleet, including cone, jaw and impact crushers, while supporting multiple departments across the Mount Isa Mines lease.

Reporting to the Tailings Operations Superintendent, you'll play a key role in driving safety, equipment reliability and operational performance across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of six operators and maintainers across crushing and screening operations.
• Supervise the safe and efficient operation of mobile crushing and screening plants.
• Oversee equipment maintenance activities and assist with fault finding and problem solving across the crushing fleet.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate servicing requirements.
• Manage stockpile operations and mobile equipment interactions across site.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance and contractors to safely achieve production targets.
• Promote and reinforce a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Maintain operational databases, reporting requirements and training compliance for your team.
• Conduct field leadership activities and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.

About You:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience within mobile crushing and screening operations.
• Previous experience working with cone, jaw and/or impact crushers and associated screening equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to fault find and problem solve equipment-related issues.
• Experience supervising maintenance activities across mobile plant or crushing operations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with operational teams.
• Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
• A proactive commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SAP maintenance planning systems will be highly regarded.

Please note: A trade qualification is not essential for this role. We are open to candidates with strong operational and maintenance experience who possess the technical knowledge and leadership capabilities required to supervise the team effectively.
