Job Position: material handler

Location: Dallas, TX 75244

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Material Handlers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for manually handling, organizing, and preparing rugs for storage and shipment while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position does not require forklift experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move rugs throughout the warehouse by hand or with team assistance

  • Organize and stage rugs for receiving, storage, and shipping

  • Roll, stack, and store rugs in designated warehouse locations

  • Inspect rugs for damage or quality issues before shipment

  • Wrap, label, and prepare rugs for customer orders

  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate product organization

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

  • Work with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy rugs throughout the shift

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift and move rugs weighing up to 50 pounds or more with team assistance when needed

  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift

  • Perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting throughout the workday
