Project Manager

We are seeking an experineced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale digital transformation and technology initiatives within a major Federal Government department.

This role is suited to a highly capable project leader with a proven track record delivering complex ICT projects across enterprise platforms, infrastructure, integration, and business transformation streams. You will work with senior stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and business areas to deliver outcomes that support strategic organisational objectives.

About the Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project delivery from initiation through to implementation, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, governance, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

You will lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams while overseeing technology implementations, integration activities, vendor engagement, risk management, and organisational change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of complex ICT and business transformation projects within a large enterprise environment
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Deliver infrastructure and technology transformation initiatives across cloud and data centre environments
• Coordinate system implementations, platform integrations, data migration activities, and multi-vendor delivery teams
• Build strong relationships with executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external suppliers
• Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation, reporting, governance artefacts, and assurance deliverables
• Lead project governance activities and provide regular updates to senior leadership and program boards
• Drive change management activities and ensure effective communication across all project workstreams
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery outcomes

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, complex government or enterprise ICT projects
• Strong project leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
• Experience delivering technology transformation programs involving enterprise applications, infrastructure, and integration initiatives
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms and ecosystems, including integration and data migration activities
• Proven experience managing software vendors, procurement activities, and third-party delivery partners
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working with senior executives and complex stakeholder groups
• Strong governance, reporting, financial management, and risk management capabilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver successful outcomes
• Demonstarted experinece delivering projects involving Salesforce, Mulesoft, Siebel and large-scale data migration and integration programs
• AGSVA Baseline (or higher) security clearance
