Role Overview
- Position Type: Part-time & Full-time, Contract and Permanent Roles
- Start Dates: Immediate, Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027
- Locations: Western & Northern suburbs of Melbourne, mainly across Wyndham, Brimbank, Melton and Hume councils
- Teaching Settings: Catholic, Independent, State and Specialist schools
- Teaching Areas:
- General classroom (Prep to Year 6)
- Literacy, numeracy and STEM (across the curriculum)
- Music, drama and the arts
- Health & physical education (health, PE, outdoor education)
- Languages (LOTE) - Arabic
- Specialist/SEN positions
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances may apply.
- Interviews: Immediate interviews available with selected schools
- Also Recruiting: Primary Leadership roles, Melbourne's north - Year Level Coordinator (Years 3-4 or 5-6) and Student Support Coordinator, Independent College, full-time permanent, Term 1 2027 or earlier.
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ citizenship, permanent residency or valid work rights (working holiday visa holders are encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Has an up-to-date resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Bring creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintain high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
