Job Description:
The Transport Planner will coordinate daily transport schedules, deliveries and collections, allocating vehicles, drivers and routes to keep the operation running efficiently.

You’ll liaise with internal departments to ensure finished goods are ready for loading, while working with freight forwarders, hauliers, ports, customers and suppliers.

The Transport Planner also raises orders using internal systems and Sage 200, prepares accurate transport and shipping documentation, supports dispatch and helps resolve transport or customer queries.

Skills & Experience:
To succeed as Transport Planner, you’ll ideally bring:

• Three or more years’ experience in transport, logistics or planning.
• Knowledge of HGV rules and transport compliance.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Confidence working with customers, suppliers, hauliers and internal teams.
• Good IT skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
• A reliable, flexible approach and strong team ethic.

Knowledge of Webfleet would be desirable.
