Job Overview: Fruitland Manufacturing, an Ingersoll Rand company, is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps and systems used across agriculture, waste management, oil and gas, and other industrial markets. We are seeking a Pump Assembler to join our growing team in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools and machinery, and take pride in producing high-quality products. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment assembling vacuum pumps, sub-assemblies, and related components while supporting continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble vacuum pumps, components, and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Perform self-inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild customer-returned pumps as required.
• Operate hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed to support production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following ISO and quality procedures.
• Report quality concerns and collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or general labour environments is an asset.
• Knowledge of pump assembly procedures and part production is an asset.
• Experience using die grinders, belt sanders, disc grinders, and other hand tools is an asset.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and technical documentation.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements This position will be based at our facility in Stoney Creek, ON, with no expected travel.
