Residential Paralegal - East Lothian

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded legal practice based in East Lothian.

This is a stand-alone role offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion, providing clients with a seamless and professional service throughout the transaction process.

This position would suit a confident and commercially minded conveyancing professional who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from inception to completion.
• Handling sales, purchases, transfers of title, remortgages and new build transactions.
• Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing conveyancing documentation.
• Conducting title examinations and property searches.
• Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation.
• Managing registration processes with Registers of Scotland.
• Ensuring all transactions are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process.
