Head of Human Resources — Life Sciences

A well-established, privately-held life sciences organisation with operations across Southeast Asia  is currently seeking a Head of Human Resources.

This business has strong operational foundations already in place. What's missing is a senior HR leader who can move beyond process and compliance to build real people infrastructure — succession pipelines, talent development, and a performance management culture that actually lands with local teams on the ground.

What You'll Do

• Design and drive succession planning across the leadership bench
• Build structured talent development pathways for a regionally distributed workforce
• Implement performance management frameworks in partnership with country-level managers
• Act as the critical link between the senior leadership team and local operations — translating strategy into execution, and surfacing ground realities upward
• Travel regularly across the region to stay close to local teams

What We're Looking For

• Senior HR leadership experience (Head of HR / HR Director level), ideally with multi-country Southeast Asia exposure
• A genuinely hands-on style — as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as setting strategy
• A track record of building succession, talent, and performance frameworks from the ground up
• Life sciences, healthcare, medtech, or another regulated-industry background is a strong plus, though not a hard requirement
• A track record of sustained impact in senior HR leadership roles, with the ability to build long-term people strategies and partnerships.
