About the role
This Senior Financial Insights Analyst position is a backfill opportunity within the Financial Sustainability team, reporting to the Director of Planning & Performance. The role requires a smooth transition with a one-week handover to ensure continuity in reporting, dashboard management, and workforce analytics.
Key responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards
  • Support the rollout of dashboards across the organisation
  • Analyse workforce and payroll-related data
  • Identify trends in labour spend and overtime
  • Deliver recurring reporting packs and trend analysis
  • Investigate data quality issues and inconsistencies
  • Present findings to senior leadership and translate technical outputs into business recommendations.
Skills & experience
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, particularly in payroll reporting and workforce analytics
  • Strong capability in maintaining Power BI dashboards and delivering actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to work with messy and incomplete datasets, providing meaningful outputs.
