Position Highlights:

- Call schedule of 1:5
- Opportunity to develop a broad neurosurgical practice
- Academic and teaching opportunities available through an affiliated medical education program
- Collaborative team environment with neurologists, neurointerventional specialists, advanced practice providers, and other subspecialists
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal surgeries
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including MRI, CT, and angiography
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, assessments, and follow-up care
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows as applicable
Procedural Scope:
- Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery
- Spinal fusion and decompression procedures
- Kyphoplasty
- Spinal cord stimulator implantation
- Craniectomy and cranioplasty
- Ventricular shunt placement
- Additional cranial and complex spine procedures based on training and expertise
