Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred
- Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee
- Flexible and adaptable to float to various specialties where needed, within the medical center (ie Adult & Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Peds, etc.)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Room patients
- Vitals and injections
- Provide medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening
- Immunizations
- Set up for procedures
- Disinfect rooms and dismiss patients
- Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BLS/CPR certified through American Heart Association
- 2 Step TB (PPD) - one within the last 2 years and 1 within the past 90 days or yearly QuantiFERON Gold
- Proof of immunization/titer records for: MMR and Varicella
- Current Flu Shot
- Yearly physical
- Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
