Access Control and CCTV Technician – Security Systems | Houston, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
  • Install door hardware, including mag locks, electric strikes, and related hardware
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
  • Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
  • Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights
  • Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites, including schools, hospitals, offices, and warehouses

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial installation experience with access control/CCTV
  • Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
  • Programming experience in access control and CCTV is a plus
  • Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Basic hand tools and PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
  • Willingness to travel to job sites within the Houston area and throughout Texas as needed
