About the Role
We are seeking Junior Network Administrator Engineers to support the delivery and maintenance of critical infrastructure services. This role will see you working alongside experienced engineers to implement, support, and optimise network environments across a range of technologies.

Location: The role is based in Adeliade SA or Canberra ACT
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus 2x 12 month extensions
Experience Level: Junior – APS4/5 Equivalent
Security Requirements: Candidates must hold an active or reactivatable Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance on submission. Our client is not looking to upgrade an existing clearance for this position. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.

- Assisting in the establishment of new networks and maintenance of existing environments
- Supporting network troubleshooting activities under limited supervision
- Monitoring and contributing to the improvement of network performance
- Installing and configuring network infrastructure, including LAN and WAN systems
- Supporting infrastructure lifecycle activities across physical, virtualised, and cloud platforms
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of foundational technical capability and a willingness to learn within a structured environment.
Key requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT infrastructure services, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Understanding of systems installation and removal processes, including testing, documentation, and issue resolution
- Exposure to network technologies (LAN/WAN) and infrastructure environments
- Ability to follow established procedures while contributing to continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under limited supervision
Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
