RGH offers a full range of specialty services including orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, non-invasive cardiology, psychiatry and gynecology. Our ER is staffed 24/7 by boarded physicians, well trained in emergency medicine. Our radiology department is equipped with an MRI, 16 slice CT scanner, vascular/general ultrasound, nuclear medicine, digital mammography and PACS. We support an active outpatient oncology clinic staffed by MCV oncologists. Our nursing and support staff is professional, well trained and friendly.
Our hospitalist program has been in existence since 1992. All four physicians are well trained and work well together. The average number of admissions is 4.5 per 24 hours. Our average census per physician is 5-8 patients, but varies with the seasons. We perform outpatient and inpatient stress tests, pre-operative consults, and most other general internal medicine procedures. The practice is better described as an Internal Medicine Inpatient Practice. Work schedule is a traditional Hospitalist work week Monday through Friday with rotating beeper call at night and weekends.
Compensation: Income guarantee - $180,000. Base salary is $165,000 with a performance bonus plan of 15% of net collection from first dollar collected.
