Need a male para to work with an 8th grade male student. An RBT isn't needed though. This student has a muscular degenerative condition and struggles to complete routine classroom tasks, like holding a pencil, getting something out of his backpack. He is unable to move his arms much and sometimes needs them readjusted. He attends school in the Medical Day Program at Childrens Hospital. The nursing staff will take care of any toileting and/or changing that is needed.
Schedule: student will attend school 1/2 days (7:30a-12p)
Hours: 22.5 per week
Once we find a candidate with whom we'd like to move forward, APS will need to complete a background check and Childrens Hospital has an extensive onboarding process including fingerprinting, drug screen, immunization compliance. That process can move as quickly as the candidate completes tasks.
13123 E. 16th Ave is the address for the main hospital and that is where parking and access control is located. However, MDT is housed in the Gary Pavilion at 1635 Victor St.
