We are seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate and enhance our production activities while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating production activity in assigned work areas, ensuring continuous processing in line with build schedules.
- Communicate work instructions to personnel, aligning with supervisory objectives.
- Ensure quality and production goals are consistently achieved.
- Conduct regular process and quality performance audits of personnel, tooling, and equipment.
- Report equipment failures to supervisors or appropriate contacts.
- Gather information on work in process inventory status and daily output quantities.
- Provide direct training to area operators and offer feedback on defects, including re-training support as needed.
- Assist in expediting priority products and tasks within assigned areas.
- Inspect and determine disposition of rejected components per required documentation.
- Perform direct manufacturing operations in support of build schedules as necessary.
- Stay updated on developments in relevant fields, regulatory requirements, and general company and industry trends.
- Coordinate purchase requests for equipment and services.
- Resolve or facilitate the resolution of problems, identifying causes to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct daily meetings with manufacturing operators to enhance communication and continuous improvement.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration stickers are current.
- Participate in 5S audits and weekly meetings with other area value stream group leads.
- Support company initiatives as identified by management, including Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
