General Manager

Job Title: General Manager

Job Summary:
You will lead Thailand operations as the General Manager, driving business growth, managing local P&L (Profit and Loss), and overseeing sales, technical service, and supply chain for marine equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the local business plan to grow market share in Thailand's commercial, leisure, and industrial marine sectors.
• Identify new revenue streams, customer accounts, and strategic partnerships with shipyards, vessel owners, and port authorities.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the Thai maritime industry.
• Manage the complete P&L, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting for the Thailand entity.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and technical after-sales support.
• Ensure strict compliance with Thai labor laws, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and safety standards.
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team across sales, engineering/service, and administration.
• Drive key account management and support the sales team in closing complex marine equipment deals.
• Foster a strong company culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Qualification:

• Thai National
• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• 10 years of progressive commercial business experience in the Marine, Oil & Gas, Shipping, Heavy machinery and equipment industry
• Knowledge of the marine industry (marine equipment, propulsion systems, navigation electronics, or vessel services) is strongly preferred
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in business development and strategic planning
• Ability to write & communicate in English professionally
• Ability to travel across Thailand engage business opportunities
