The organisation
ImagingHQ is working exclusively with one of Australia's largest private medical imaging groups to place a Lead Radiographer at their flagship Sydney metropolitan site. This is a genuine clinical leadership appointment — with real responsibility for day-to-day team performance, quality oversight, and staff development across a high-volume, multi-modality department.
The role
You will lead and supervise a radiography team of 8–12 across general, CT, and fluoroscopy lists. You will manage rostering, coordinate equipment training, contribute to protocol and quality governance, and serve as the primary escalation point for clinical and procedural issues.
What we're looking for
AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiography) is required. Demonstrated senior radiography experience (5+ years) is essential, with proven team leadership or supervisory experience. Overseas-trained radiographers are encouraged to apply. ImagingHQ supports candidates through ASMIRT skills assessment and AHPRA Medical Radiation Practitioner registration.
