SOP Document Writer

The role
Our client, a plastic packaging manufacturer based in North Brisbane, is looking for an SOP Documentation Writer to join their team on a 3-month contract.

You will work closely with the production team to understand and document manufacturing processes from start to finish. Your main responsibility will be creating clear and accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for the production department.

Duties

• Observe and document production processes.
• Speak with production staff and supervisors to understand workflows.
• Write and update SOPs and work instructions.
• Create simple process flowcharts and supporting documents.
• Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and easy to follow.
• Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications to create professional documents.

The Candidate 

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
• Ability to work with production teams and gather information on the factory floor.
• Previous experience writing SOPs or process documentation is advantageous but not essential.
• Must have your own laptop.
