Public Sector People is seeking a reliable temporary Parks Assistant to join Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s team in Roselands.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical outdoor maintenance experience who enjoys working as part of a team and is confident operating small plant equipment.

About the Role
  • Assist with parks, gardens and open space maintenance.
  • Operate small plant equipment to support daily maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain council grounds and public spaces.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
  • Hold a current Class C driver's licence.
  • Have experience operating small plant equipment.
  • Be comfortable undertaking physical, outdoor work.
  • Be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a team.
