Pay Rate: $16.00–$21.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (typical)
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule may vary based on workload
On-call evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on On-Site Carpenter, Packer, and Warehouse Agent to support warehouse operations and customer job sites. This position combines carpentry, industrial packing, warehouse duties, and local travel to customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Essential Job Duties
Build custom wooden crates, pallets, and skids for shipping.
Pack, secure, and prepare freight for domestic and international shipments.
Perform on-site packing services at customer locations.
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
Complete additional warehouse or field duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
1–3 years of carpentry, crating, packaging, or warehouse experience.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic.
Comfortable working both in a warehouse and at customer locations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting of 50–75 lbs.
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift.
Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions when performing on-site assignments.
Equipment/Certifications
Forklift Experience: Preferred
Forklift Certification: Preferred (not required)
Hand & Power Tool Experience: Required
Driver's License: Required
Dress Code / PPE
Steel-toe boots required.
Safety vest, gloves, and eye protection as required.
Appropriate work attire for warehouse and field environments.
