Job Description: We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team distributing food and beverage products. This role involves operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely move, load, and unload inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently
- Pick, stage, and put away orders in a timely manner
- Use RF scanner and warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and complete tasks
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow proper storage procedures
- Perform routine equipment safety checks and report any issues
- Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with food safety standards
- Always follow all company policies with a strong focus on safety
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, high-volume warehouse handling food and drink products
- Frequent overtime and extended hours required based on business demand
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of recent forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up)
- English proficiency required (ability to understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate effectively)
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Team-oriented with a dependable work ethic
