A growing ambulatory surgery program in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist Medical Director to provide clinical care and help lead the development of an advanced cardiovascular and vascular surgery program.



Position Highlights:
  • Help launch a new Cardiac & Vascular Ambulatory Surgery Center, anticipated to open in spring 2027
  • Provide anesthesia for interventional cardiology, electrophysiology procedures, vascular surgery, device placements and sedation cases
  • Work 2–3 days per week, covering approximately 7–10 cases weekly
  • Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with no call
  • Benefit from flexible scheduling based on program needs
  • Develop anesthesia policies, protocols, workflows and quality standards
  • Provide clinical leadership and help recruit and develop the anesthesia team
  • Collaborate with procedural specialists, surgeons, nursing and administrative leadership
  • Help shape the growth of a multispecialty ambulatory surgery program, including future oversight of anesthesia services at an additional ASC with four operating rooms

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with completed anesthesiology residency
  • Board-certified in Anesthesiology
  • Eight or more years of experience preferred
  • Interest in physician leadership, program development and quality improvement
