Group Finance Manager

We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join the Finance function of a highly diversified, Irish owned, international business. This is a key role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of group reporting, consolidation and technical accounting, while also having the opportunity to influence how the wider finance function operates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process
• Preparing and reviewing group financial statements
• Providing financial insight and reporting to senior leadership and the Board
• Advising on complex transactions and technical accounting matters under IFRS
• Working closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal and international finance teams
• Driving improvements across financial controls, systems and reporting processes
• Supporting and developing junior members of the finance team
• Exploring how AI and automation can be used to improve efficiency and eliminate manual processes

Experience:

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification
• Strong post-qualification experience within group reporting/consolidation
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and experience with complex accounting matters
• Experience working with multiple entities, ideally within a multinational environment
• Strong audit and statutory reporting experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A commercially minded, proactive approach to process improvement
