Registered Manager – Care Home Location: Bedford Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent An Exceptional Leadership Opportunity – Registered Manager Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We are recruiting for an outstanding leadership opportunity in Bedford, offering a highly competitive salary of £80,000 – £85,000. We are seeking a driven, compassionate and commercially focused Registered Manager who can inspire teams, champion exceptional standards of care and create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected and safe. Key Responsibilities Provide inspirational leadership, ensuring outstanding standards of person-centred care and resident wellbeing. Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation. Lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting a positive, compassionate and high-performing culture. Oversee the operational and financial performance of the home, including occupancy, budgets and quality improvement. Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement, ensuring excellent clinical governance, risk management and regulatory outcomes. Requirements Proven experience as a Registered Manager, Care Home Manager or General Manager within a residential or nursing care setting. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and safeguarding. Demonstrable experience managing budgets, occupancy and operational performance. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and improving residents' quality of life. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or an equivalent relevant qualification is desirable. Benefits Excellent salary of £80,000 – £85,000 per annum.
