An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant / Part-Qualified Accountant to join a busy and established finance team based close to Cashel, Co. Tipperary

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career, gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and work closely with senior management.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of accounting and finance activities, including:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Analysis and investigation of variances
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Supporting statutory reporting and external audit
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Assisting with improving financial processes and systems
  • General accounting duties and ad hoc finance projects

The Person

  • Part-Qualified Accountant or experienced Accounts Assistant looking to progress
  • Strong accounting skills with good attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and experience with accounting systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable liaising with colleagues and senior management
